Today we had a look around outside and tried to find things with strong primary colours to take photographs off. Then we looked for analogous colours. Analogous colours are sets off colours that lie next to each other the colour wheel. Taking pictures of colours like this creates a feeling in the picture as you can tell from my second picture which is warm and creates a sense of comfort.  

 In todays lab session we had to put compositional tips that we covered in our composition lecture. I picked 6 photos that I feel followed the compositional design elements we needed for our lab submission. 

 I have chosen my photo essay topic to be a day in a life. I have chosen this as I feel it is a very broad topic, really easy to work with and I also feel I can be very creative with my photos. I would definitely be able to get a wide variety of photos for this topic and be able to tell a story with them for my photo essay. 

In today's lab we session we had to go outside and take our time to create creative photos with all the skills we have learnt so far.  Exercise 4: Find one scene you are happy with. Exercise 5: Create a restriction(manual mode only, only things below you, photo when sitting) Exercise 2: Take and abstract photo of a small object. Exercise 3: Chose an object and place it where it exists.                                           Exercise 6: Recreate a photo. Exercise 1: pick a location and take a unique photo while standing.
